1. Before any animal is exported out of the country, the owner / exporter must find out the regulations and requirements for import from the importing country.
2. When this information has been obtained, an appointment must be made with the veterinary authorities for certification.
3. The animal and its documents should accompany the owner on the appointment date for certification. The certification is usually done forty eight (48) hours prior to scheduled travel.
4. If all conditions of the Import Permit of the destination country have been satisfied, the animal will be presented with an export health certificate.
